My Story
It’s not your typical story.
Born in South Korea near the city of Seoul, I moved to Silicon Valley during the financial crisis. As a gamer for the most of my teenage life, I didn’t have any passion for music, school, or sports as I do now. The pivotal moment came when I was finally able to quit video games during the summer of my Junior year, which in turn, grew my interest in reading books and studying hard.
After getting accepted to UC Santa Cruz as a proposed Sociology major, I moved to Santa Cruz and lived two years at Rachel Carson College (formerly College 8). During the course of my first consulting experience with the on-campus Everett Program, my mind was opened to the possibility of changing my major to Business and pursue something I always dreamed of as a kid. In addition, when I was offered a position as the CUIP coordinator, I took a leap of faith into an unknown world that proved to be an invaluable experience.
So is that all there is to your story?
No, because it’s being written right now as I speak.
The way that Jason so patiently, humbly and respectfully has approached this intern position is admirable, and we feel very fortunate to have been able to host him
